Aeris Resources is seeking an experienced HST Superintendent to join our Tritton Operation on an 8/6 dayshift only roster.

We’ve got the rocks covered but we’re looking for one more incredible person to join the team based at our Tritton Operation as a HST Superintendent.

The Nitty Gritty

We are looking for a Health, Safety & Training Superintendent to oversee the site’s safety management systems and ensure effective risk control across underground operations. This role includes managing hazard identification and incident investigations, maintaining compliance with training and competency standards, and supporting continuous improvement of safety processes. You will provide leadership and governance to promote a safe, prepared, and accountable workforce.

What you Bring:

  • Lead and continuously enhance the site Safety Management Plan and Principal Hazard Management Plans.
  • Provide executive assurance regarding the effectiveness of critical control management and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee hazard identification, risk assessment and verification processes across underground operations.
  • Analyse safety performance trends and lead systemic interventions to reduce material risk exposure.
  • Provide strategic oversight of the site training and competency framework.
  • Assure compliance with statutory qualifications, VOC requirements and mandatory training standards.
  • Maintain governance of the training matrix to ensure workforce readiness and contractor compliance.
  • Lead governance of significant incident investigations, including ICAM methodology.
  • Ensure corrective actions address systemic risk drivers and are sustainably embedded.
  • Provide oversight of Emergency Response capability and operational preparedness.
  • Demonstrate visible safety leadership and influence frontline accountability.
  • Develop capability within the Health, Safety & Training team to ensure sustainable performance.

The Company

Tritton Operations

Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production.

Tritton mines from multiple sources and as we look to bring more mines into production, we are are transitioning to a ‘hub-and-spoke’ model where ore is transported to our centralised mill for processing.
