In your day to day, you will assist with ongoing safety inspections and audits, and support incident investigations and risk assessments through the collation of data and evidence gathering

You will be responsible for promoting awareness of Health and Safety Practices and reporting incidents.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing mining company and further your career in HSET!

You will champion HSET best practice across the business and site and partner closely with line management to ensure they deliver to their safety accountabilities.

What you Bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in mining health and safety advisory roles, preferably in an underground or complex multi-site operation.

  • Experience in risk management, audits and regulatory engagement.
  • Previous open cut mining experience essential.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and overseeing workplace safety management systems.

What we Offer:

Competitive Salary Package and Leave policies for everybody: Our teams have options to swap public holidays and more.

Parental leave for all types of families:  Our paid parental leave is available to all part-time and full-time Aeris employees who have become parents through birth, surrogacy or adoption – and it can be shared between both parents, regardless of gender.

Serious support for mental health: All Aeris employees and their families have access to free and confidential counselling services via our Employee Assistance Program.

Partners that give you more: Our teams have discounts and benefits with private health insurance, salary packaging options, travel services and more.

A stellar safety record: We work safely and make sure our workmates do the same. We are always looking for better ways to improve physical and psychosocial safety for our people.

The Company

Tritton Operations

Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production.

Tritton mines from multiple sources and as we look to bring more mines into production, we are transitioning to a ‘hub-and-spoke’ model where ore is transported to our centralised mill for processing.
