We Are Aeris

The true value in Aeris comes from two things: people and rocks.

We’ve got the rocks covered but we’re looking for one more incredible person to join our team at Cracow Gold Operations as a Human Resources (HR) Superintendent.

The Nitty Gritty

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the HR Superintendent is a key leadership role responsible for delivering high-level human resources support across our Cracow Operation. This position plays a critical role in building organisational capability, strengthening culture, and partnering with leaders to drive people outcomes aligned with operational and business objectives.

Supported by an on-site HR Advisor, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders across all departments, providing practical coaching and guidance in best-practice people management, leadership capability, employee relations, workforce planning, and performance development.

Operating within a remote FIFO mining environment, this role requires a strong and visible site presence, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of the business. You will provide timely and pragmatic HR support while fostering a positive, values-driven workplace culture that supports both operational performance and employee engagement.

While the role works closely with the corporate HR function and broader head office teams, the Cracow Operation functions with a high degree of autonomy. As such, success in this position will require a proactive, hands-on approach, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to independently identify opportunities, manage risk, and deliver practical people solutions in a dynamic operational environment.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in a senior HR role within mining, resources, or another operational environment
  • Strong employee relations and leadership coaching capability
  • The ability to build credibility and influence across all levels of the organisation
  • A proactive, resilient, and solutions-focused mindset
  • Excellent analytical, systems, and reporting capability
  • A collaborative approach combined with the confidence to operate autonomously

We are looking for a grounded, consistent and strong HR leader to join our close-knit operation where you can make a genuine impact on culture, leadership capability, and business performance while working as part of a broader organisational HR network.

Additionally, you will possess the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources.
  • Greater than 5 years senior generalist HR experience
  • Strong computer literacy and competent user of MS Office and other software.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, building relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to coach and influence key personnel

What we offer:

  • Family friendly roster - 8/6  Days only
  • FIFO from Brisbane or Sunshine Coast
  • DIDO & Residential options available, with Residential allowance available
  • Leave policies for everybody: Our teams have options to swap public holidays, purchase additional leave, take career breaks and more.
  • Parental leave for all types of families:  Our paid parental leave is available to all part-time and full-time Aeris employees who have become parents through birth, surrogacy or adoption – and it can be shared between both parents, regardless of gender.
  • Serious support for mental health: All Aeris employees and their families have access to free and confidential counselling services via our Employee Assistance Program.
  • Partners that give you more: Our teams have discounts and benefits with private health insurance, salary packaging options, travel services and more.
  • A stellar safety record: We work safely and make sure our workmates do the same. We are always looking for better ways to improve physical and psychosocial safety for our people.
  • Respect for you (the real you!): Our Workplace of Respect Policy is more than words on a page. We respect and care for one another, and step in and speak up for our teammates.
