We’ve got the rocks covered but we’re looking for one more incredible person to join the team based in our Tritton Operation as a Fixed Plant – Electrician.
The Nitty Gritty
This role is based at our Processing Plant - A processing plant takes raw materials from underground and transforms them into finished or refined products using a range of automated machinery, electrical systems, and control equipment. As an electrician within the mill, you will be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, and improving these systems to ensure safe and efficient production. This includes working across motors, conveyors, PLCs, and high-voltage equipment.
In addition to supporting the processing plant, our team also maintains residential infrastructure, including housing and workshop facilities.
This role is a great opportunity for electricians from a domestic or commercial background who are looking to transition into the mining industry. Our processing team is committed to training and developing the right candidate, providing the support needed to build your skills and experience
What you Bring:
Required:
- NSW Electrical license.
- NSW manual driver's license
- Proven ability to read and interpret schematics.
- High mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work safely, independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
- High Voltage Switching/ Operator training.
- Working Safely at Heights
- Confined Space Ticket
- High Risk Work Licence – Forklift/EWP
- LVCPR certification
- Mining or Industrial Electrical experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of PLCs, VSDs and motor control systems.
- Open Cabling Registration (data/ structured cabling/ fibre optic).

The Company
Tritton Operations
Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production.
Tritton mines from multiple sources and as we look to bring more mines into production, we are are transitioning to a ‘hub-and-spoke’ model where ore is transported to our centralised mill for processing.
