The Nitty Gritty
Join us as an Environmental Technician. In this hands-on role, you’ll conduct environmental field sampling and monitoring, support land management and rehabilitation projects, assist with site inspections and waste management, and help ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
What you Bring:
- Willingness & desire to work outdoors as well as an interest in the environmental field and willingness to learn.
- Laboratory or industry recognised sampling qualification highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills, an ability to work independently and good problem-solving skills are critical for the role.
- Ability to embrace technological change and innovation in the role.
- A strong focus on quality and accuracy of work, including sampling and related documentation, procedures and records.
- Competent user of MS Word, Excel, Power Point (and GIS software skills welcome).
- Applicants must have a current manual NSW Driver’s Licence with an ability to competently drive manual 4WD vehicles.
- Ability to work remotely and alone and prioritise and schedule work.

The Company
Tritton Operations
Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production.
Tritton mines from multiple sources and as we look to bring more mines into production, we are are transitioning to a ‘hub-and-spoke’ model where ore is transported to our centralised mill for processing.
