Aeris Resources are currently seeking applications from experienced Contract Administrators to support our operational sites in a newly established Corporate role.
The Nitty Gritty
Reporting to the Group Procurement Manager and based in Brisbane you will initially work on our NSW project. Initial requirements will see more frequent site travel to build Stakeholder relationships and embed behaviours and expectations to ensure we maximise deliverables and maintain compliance.
- Apply fit-for-purpose best contracting and procurement processes in line with Aeris’ governance.
- Administer contracts up to $100 million in value, including monthly progress claims, variations and change events, expediting, close-out, and dispute resolution .
- Support Contract Owners in understanding contract terms, obligations, and procedures, fostering a culture of commercial awareness across site teams.
- Prepare and coordinate tenders, RFQs, and other sourcing events to ensure value for money and competitiveness.
- Assist the Group Procurement Manager with high-risk/complex, group-wide contracts.
- Track contractor performance against agreed KPIs and service levels and work with Contract Owners to proactively manage performance.
- Ensure all contract records, approvals, and communications are audit-ready and compliant with Aeris’ internal controls and policies.
- Provide purchasing support, including requisitions, vendor set-up, and coordination with Accounts.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement, identify and implement process improvements in contract management and procurement workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
- Maintain a visible and engaged presence at site, building strong working relationships with all stakeholders to ensure contract alignment with site needs.
- Uphold site safety procedures and act as a Safety Leader when on site.

About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Contract Management, Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated experience in contract administration, with strong knowledge of performance-based contracting and commercial risk mitigation.
- A solid understanding of statutory requirements, company policies, and how these apply throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing – with the ability to build valued relationships across site and corporate teams.
- Well-developed time and priority management skills, with a high degree of accuracy and sound decision-making.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a structured, self-directed approach to work.
- Current C Class driver’s licence.
