Aeris Resources are currently seeking applications for a Mechanical Leading Hand to join our Underground Maintenance team at Cracow Gold Operations in Central Queensland

Reporting to the Supervisor – Mechanical Underground the role is responsible to undertake and support the maintenance and repair of underground mobile plant & equipment

About You:

  • Trade Qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter with at least 5 years underground mobile plant experience or greater than ten years, relevant post qualification experience in the heavy earth moving industry.
  • Competent in safe, efficient and effective use of trade skills
  • Ability and aptitude to coach & mentor team mates
  • Ability to complete assigned work without direct supervision
  • Forklift and A/C refrigerant handling licenses
  • Hydraulic, Electrical and machine specific training.
  • High level of hydraulic and electrical schematic interpretation and diagnostic ability.
  • Leadership training and aptitude
  • Open C Class, manual Drivers Licence
