About the role

The Senior Commercial Accountant position contributes to the commercial and site services functions at Tritton Operation, including finance and administration The role covers the entire breadth of management accounting functions, system management and reporting.

This exciting and diverse role is definitely not your average Commercial or Management Accountant role!

Whilst you will provide accounting services and support to site management, you will also have the opportunity to showcase your strategic and advisory skills and act as a genuine trusted advisor to the business.

You will be involved in exciting project work as Aeris grows and ventures into new business endeavours within the mining industry!

About You

• You have a passion for business analysis and process improvement and thrive in environments where you can enact positive change to the status quo!
• You’re an experienced Commercial Accountant who has a demonstrated history of providing specialist finance, procurement and accounting services within a large and complex environment
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders comes naturally to you – your communication style and your ability to negotiate and influence has seen you succeed in your career so far
• Your attention to detail is second to none and you have a proven track record of delivering successful commercial activities, including reporting, budgeting and annual business planning
• You will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting or Commerce related fields
• You are self-motivated, confident and absolutely driven by (and committed to!)  providing exceptional service, advice and outcomes for your team and business.
• Mining experience would be great for you to have already, however, it’s not essential!

This is an opportunity to make a genuine difference and work for an exceptional Commercial Manager and leader in a role offering challenge, professional development and the opportunity to make a difference. The role can be offered as FIFO, DIDO or residential (with very attractive residential benefits). The role is currently a 12 month contract however with our continued growth and expansion future opportunities are likely to become available.
